A day to relax in Sonoma. Chris and I went for a walk around all of the shops an alleys surrounding the town square. It was morning so there wasn't an opportunity to stop in on the multitude of tasting rooms.
We did visit the Sonoma Barracks and the Historical Park.
These are across the street from the Sonoma Mission, the northern most mission of the 21 California Trail and the end of the ElCamino Real.
We had a nice lunch downtown and returned to Jim & Sharon's to team up with Sharon for some winery touring. First stop was Cline Cellars, home of some fantastic Zinfandels and a 50% discount from Sharon's friend Pat!
We then crossed the road to the Jacuzzi Winery, a sister winery to Cline and owned by the founders of the Jacuzzi bath tub. A fabulous building and grounds and some very good Italian style wines.
It was Mexican food night with a visit to Maya's on the town square. We did some more trip planning in the evening getting ready for our departure tomorrow.
